Price Changes Log: Website Tools and Hosting
Prices and free-plan limits change quietly. When we re-check a product on the vendor’s own pricing page and the number no longer matches what we published, we fix every page that used it and log the change here. This page lists only changes we confirmed by hand on the official source. Automated price checks that flip back and forth are not included.
How to read it: “Before” is the figure we had published. “Now” is what the vendor’s own page showed on the date in the first column. US prices, before tax, unless noted. The date is when we confirmed the change, not when the vendor made it.
Get an email when a price changes
We re-check hosting and tool prices on the vendors' own pages. When a price or free-plan limit we track changes, we log it here and send a short summary, at most once a month.
One email a month at most, only when something changed. Unsubscribe anytime.

What this means for you: free plans got smaller at Mailchimp and MailerLite and much larger at Kit, so “the best free email plan” is not the same answer it was a few months ago. Our email marketing comparison uses the current limits. For hosting, the number that moves the most is the renewal price, which we track separately in our dated renewal price table.
Our method is described on the methodology page. Spotted a price that changed before we did? Email info@startsitenow.com.
